Hi. This is Pam. As of today, we, meaning Lonnie, Mom, and myself, are waiting for our LOI--or letter of invitation to travel to Kazakhstan. Our file is in Kazakhstan as I type. :-) Yesterday, I received the travel packet from the adoption agency. I must admit that I was very excited. It felt as if it was a large step toward successfully completing the adoption(s). As of this moment, we are unsure if we will be able to come home with two children. It looks as if it will only be one. But, we keep praying to accept what is in God's will and plan for not only our lives, but also of the child(ren) who will complete our family. I am busy making packing lists and buying food and stuff for the trip. Last night I even made Lonnie weigh one of the semi-packed suitcases to see if it would make the airline's cut. (He thinks I'm crazy--but a good crazy :-) I'll update as I get information. Please continue to keep us in your prayers, as our dream gets closer to being realized. It has been a long process, as we are almost three years into the process, but we wait with anticipation of the good things that will result.
