So, I received an email this morning that gave us our travel date. JULY 6 or 7!! Okay, so it is a bit later than what we were hoping for, but it is a DATE. And, we are constantly reminding ourselves that it is in the Lord's timing--all things in His timing and according to His plan. Anyhoo, less I digress, our LOI will be dated for June 1st, our 10 wedding anniversary by the way, but we can't leave until the July date because an official in Karaganda is on vacation. So, we will go to the orphanage on July 10th as our first visit. We were informed that there will be many children available to choose from at that time. We will only be able to get one, so we are unsure if we will be getting a boy or girl. We are thinking that we will begin the China adoption process when we return, so Lonnie is pulling for a boy (I think) .
So, on this very happy and blessed day I ask that you all continue to keep us in your prayers. Please pray that the Lord will lead us to the child that is the one to start our family. Please continue to keep the Kazakhstan officials in your prayers, as they impact a great many children and hopeful-adoptive families.
I will continue to keep you all updated as we get more news.
