Being Cool In Kaz

What's Up!

Well, we have started our second week of visits with Marina. We stayed inside this morning, as it was a bit too breezy to take Marina outside. So, we played inside. Today, Marina sat up between my legs, virtually all by herself. It is amazing to watch her grow and develop new skills. We are such proud, gushing parents. :-) For the afternoon, we played, fed Marina, and went for four laps outside. She really likes being in the Snugli and going for walks.

I posted a picture of her chillin' in sunglasses, that was all her daddy. And, check out the pic of grandma looking at the spoon that Marina eats off of. Also, check out Marina holding her cup. She holds it with both hands and practically feeds herself, we just have to guide it in and tilt it back.

Mom is excited, as we have just inherited a microwave from another couple who is over here adopting as well. She will love to make her popcorn and coffee in that. Lonnie continues to make us great meals out of our food stash. And, I continue to be tech girl. :-)

We went for a walk around a park in back of our hotel. It is large and really nice. It feels good to get out of the hotel room and be in the sunshine for a bit. And, mom doesn't have anything to clean out there :-).

Well, supper is being served and I'm hungry. So, I guess that is all for today. Please keep me in your prayers, as my one tooth has been acting up and I don't want to have to be here for six weeks with a tooth issue.

Miss you all and love to you!

Sharon and Family,

I am so happy for you all! Pam and Lonnie we have never met personally, but from all the wonderful things your mother has told me about you I feel like I have known you for years. Sharon had given me the web address in June sometime and I was checking it often to see how things were going. There wasn't much, and now there are posting everyday! I am so excited to read them it just warms my heart to see you all. Sharon I have been sharing the wonderful news with everyone. I am working for the Y this summer, so I see Linda C. everyday. I printed out the pictures and gave her the address. So she is going to check it out. Liz also sends her best wishes. We know you are making a wonderful grandma. Take care! You are all in my thoughts and prayers! Love, Brandy

Congratulations, guys! She's a cutie, and you seem to be having so much fun together already!! Julia loved looking at Marina's pictures....maybe they can play together sometime when you guys are back home and settled in. :) We'll be thinking of you over the next few weeks as you continue to bond with your new baby and as you finalize the process over there! Congrats again!!!

Hello everyone! I just got back from vacation and caught up on all the wonderful news. Thanks for making me have a good cry...at work! Marina is a beautiful name and she is very beautiful. It is amazing how the parenting instincts kick in! Lonnie looks way more comfy than he does when Kaylee is getting in his space constantly. We had a bit of a scare on vacation with the baby, but I went to doc yesterday and they said all should be fine...hopefully. So now Marina will either gain a little friend to play with or possibly a boyfriend next March! That will be nice having children closer in age. I hope your tooth is feeling better, or at least not bothering you as much. We are VERY excited for you guys and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Take care and we love you!

Love
Jason, Stacie, Kaylee Jo...& Baby

Pam, Lonnie, Sharon,

Marina is so cute! She looks like her Daddy. Can't wait to hold her and fuss over her. She is truely a blessing from God. Dad says it looks like Lonnie got a new toy. We'll see you all when you get home. Thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers everyday!
